After all weโ€™ve been going through as a community, we can use a few moments of peace. This weekly 30-minute class is designed to activate your parasympathetic nervous system (the โ€œ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ต ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ตโ€ system) when many of us have been stuck in the sympathetic nervous system (the โ€œ๐˜ง๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ต ๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜ง๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜จ๐˜ฉ๐˜ตโ€ system) recently.โ €

We start each class with a breathing exercise followed by a sequence of a few restorative poses designed to induce rest and relaxation. We mix in some very gentle, "mini-flows" to move blood and oxygen through the body. Finally, we end with a guided meditation.
