As a yoga teacher and psychotherapist who is mixed Caucasian and Filipina, I want to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for other Hapas to support each other in the Black Lives Matter movement.
This discussion group is for ALL Hapas to discuss how you are working and coping with the Black Lives Matter movement against police brutality and white supremacy.
In this intimate group setting, we will reflect on our privileges, biases, and oppressions, while processing what is being brought up in terms of our own racial identities and experiences, and how to move forward with anti-racism work as integral parts of our lives.
The Zoom meeting link will be emailed to you one day before the meeting!
Namaste and Love,
Donations are accepted and appreciated, but by no means required or expected. You may join the group once or as many times as you like. Each group meeting is limited to four people to allow participants time to share their stories and hold space for each other. There will be ZERO tolerance for hate, racism, or white supremacy, so if you do not support the Black Lives Matter movement, this group is not for you.
